Sol Campbell delays decision on Sunderland move

Sol Campbell has told Steve Bruce he will decide on his next move following his forthcoming wedding and honeymoon. The former Arsenal and England defender last week held talks with Sunderland's manager over a possible move to the Stadium of Light but is also attracting interest from, among others, Celtic. Moreover there is still a chance the 35-year-old could return to Arsenal. While Bruce has not ruled out recruiting Campbell he has dismissed a move for the Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick. Meanwhile Hull City's midfielder George Boateng has said there is a "big chance" he will join Celtic in the coming week. Burnley want to take Fraser Forster on loan from Newcastle. The highly rated young goalkeeper spent last season with Norwich City. Chris Hughton, Newcastle's manager is unsure whether to reloan Forster or, instead, send his similarly talented cover keeper Tim Krul out to another club this season. Whichever goalkeeper remains will understudy Steve Harper.
