Tom Cruise ponders full-length Les Grossman film
His snarling, foul-mouthed, bottom-slapping, hirsute studio exec was one of the standout moments of the Oscar-nominated 2008 comedy, Tropic Thunder. Now Tom Cruise is considering reviving Les Grossman for a full-scale feature, according to eonline.com . Cruise brought the character back for a duet with Jennifer Lopez at the MTV movie awards at the weekend, performing a high-energy routine while sporting a bald wig, dark glasses, padding and a large amount of bling. Afterwards, he said he would like to see Grossman back on the big screen. "We're working on it," he said. "Yup, we're working on it." Cruise also filmed two promos for the MTV show, one in which he corrected the posture of his younger self in a scene from the 1983 movie Risky Business, and another in which he let loose at Twilight star Robert Pattinson for daring to suggest he might wash his hair for the upcoming awards ceremony. • This article was amended on 9 June 2010. The original referred to Len Grossman. This has been corrected.
