The emir's wife who's becoming a style icon

The Qatari royal family is in the news. It has bought Harrods and is also involved in a multi- billion-pound planning dispute with Prince Charles and developers at Chelsea Barracks in London. Do we care? Absolutely, so long as it means more chances to indulge our style crush on Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned, wife of the emir of Qatar. Her look is two parts Jackie O, one part Carrie Bradshaw. She's a sucker for colour – be it a silk cranberry full-length dress or a lime trouser suit with matching turban. But her real fashion USP is the way she styles her turbans, often with blackout sunglasses and a pair of hefty chandelier earrings. It isn't your average woman who can manage to look covered up, OTT, a touch retro and unique all at once. Let's hope her look is available at Harrods sometime soon.
