Blackpool Panthers docked 10 points by Rugby Football League

Blackpool Panthers have been docked 10 points by the Rugby Football League after being found guilty of a series of breaches of the Co-operative Championship's registration and salary cap rules. Blackpool have accepted the penalty, which follows an investigation by the RFL's compliance manager who uncovered irregularities in the contracts of 12 players. The Panthers have dropped from third to sixth in the Championship One table, although they could still qualify for the play-offs.
