Toro! Toro! by Michael Morpurgo - review

Toro! Toro! is a short but very interesting book. Set in the Spanish cvil war it tells the tale of a young boy named Antonito and his pet bull Paco. I have always enjoyed the Michael Morpurgo's books but I think that this has to be my favourite. I found the storyline amazing, and the descriptions were effective, but they weren't long and didn't drag on. Even though it was a great book it wasn't a five-star thriller of a lifetime because I was hoping was that it would be a bit longer. I really didn't want the story to end but of course, sadly, every book has to have a proper ending. Morpurgo is definitely a world class author and I would thoroughly recommend this book to any child aged between 8-12 years old.
