Rupert Murdoch's papers keep quiet about his No 10 visit

The Times and the Sun both report on Downing Street's decision to publish details of government ministers' meetings. However, both omit to mention one of the key revelations in the new register. There is no mention of the fact that Rupert Murdoch was the second person through the No 10 door after David Cameron was elected, and it seems safe to assume he wasn't there to visit his old mucker Andy Coulson, the former News of the World editor who is now the PM's spinner in chief. "The register ... marks the coalition's commitment to greater transparency," the Times reports. A pity the same can't be said for Murdoch's papers.
