MTV owner causes big trouble in China

An insight into the media executive high life, courtesy of MTV chairman Bill Roedy, who was reading extracts from his memoirs at an investor networking event recently. He recalls a dinner with owner of MTV Sumner Redstone and the Chinese president in Beijing, during which Redstone leaned across the table and according to the Telegraph, through a translator, told the premier: "You know, I think I have tasted better Chinese food in New York." Roedy followed that by explaining: "I was very glad to have walked out of there on my own two feet ..."
