Live web chat: Kelly Rigg of the TckTckTck climate movement
Today at 1pm we're joined by one of the world's leading lights in climate campaigning, Kelly Rigg . An environmental activist since 1982, Rigg went on to become director of Greenpeace International and is now the head of TckTckTck , the coalition of more than 200 NGOs pushing for a strong global deal on climate change. She joins us today to answer your questions between 1 and 2pm, in the run-up to major UN climate talks in China and Mexico . Want to ask why it's been such a quiet year for climate activism, compared to 2009's rash of high profile protests, from the G20 in London to the streets of Copenhagen ? Are you interested in how optimistic or pessimistic Rigg is about the Cancún COP16 climate conference this November ? Or would you like to quiz her about other climate campaigns, such as the UK's 10:10 bid to cut individuals and organisations' carbon footprints by 10% in 2010 , or the '10/10/10' global day of climate action next month ? Whatever you want to ask on climate change campaigning and negotiations, just post your question below.
