Gun attack on Mexican newspaper

Attackers armed with assault rifles opened fire on the newspaper offices of El Debate in the city of Mazatlán on Sunday. No injuries occurred. The governor of Sinaloa, Jesús Aguilar Padilla , said his administration would do everything possible to protect journalists and guarantee press freedom. Special protection has been arranged.
