Bolo Zenden signs new one-year deal at Sunderland
The Sunderland midfielder Boudewijn Zenden has signed a new one-year contract at the club. The 33-year-old will remain with the club he joined on a free transfer last summer from Olympique Marseille until the end of next season. "I'm delighted Bolo has agreed to stay with us," the club's manager, Steve Bruce, said. "He has played at the top level for a long time and has a wealth of experience which is so valuable both on and off the pitch. He has a great influence on his teammates and that is vital when you're bringing through the promising young players that we are." Zenden has previously played for PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona and Chelsea, before joining Middlesbrough and Liverpool.
