Births amid the Pakistan floods
Sumia, 25, gave birth to a baby boy six days after being forced to leave her home in the village of Shlar, in the Muzzafargarh district in south Punjab. Sumia, her cousin and their husbands took two days to reach a friend's house 12km away. They had no time to collect belongings and have no money, ID cards, or spare clothing. Sumia has had no access to medical treatment since giving birth on the roadside at an IDP camp.
