New music at Iceland Airwaves: Who Knew – We Do

As mission statements go, this one from Icelandic septet Who Knew is pretty clear: "Who Knew aren't trying to encapsulate the chilling vastness and serenity of their homeland." So, there are no plaintive strings and no choirs, just energetic art-rock recalling Animal Collective at their most visceral and Wolf Parade at their most playful. This video for the brilliant We Do takes a simple idea (band plays new song in front of bright background) and flips it on its head as band members take turns to, er, slap each other across the face.
