Leicester City in talks with Paulo Sousa over manager's job

Leicester City have confirmed they are in talks with Paulo Sousa about the manager's position at the Championship club. The Portuguese left Swansea yesterday and was immediately seen as the favourite to replace Nigel Pearson at the Walkers Stadium following his move to Hull City last week. "Following his release by mutual consent with Swansea City FC, Leicester City can confirm that they have initiated talks with Paulo Sousa in regards to the vacant Manager's job," read a statement on Leicester's webiste. "Further updates will be provided in due course." Sousa, a former Portugal international, began his managerial career in England with QPR in 2008 before joining Swansea a year later. He led the Welsh club to seventh in the Championship last season.
