On song: QPR's Paddy Kenny

The lowdown Born in Halifax, Kenny cut his teeth at Bradford Park Avenue, Bury and Whitby before signing with Sheffield Utd in 2002. He was instrumental in their promotion to the Premier League in 2006, could not prevent relegation the next year but represented the Republic of Ireland seven times in 2007. Although some events, including a ban for failing a drugs test and having his eyebrow bitten off in a fight, have clouded his career, he's hit a rich streak of form since joining QPR in June. View from the terrace Once viewed by many R's fans as overweight, since Neil Warnock signed Paddy we now see a lean, keen goalkeeping machine. Which he is. He's played a major role in conceding a mere seven goals, including a penalty against Swansea, which would have led to our first defeat. Paddy commands the area and his distribution is first class. An inspiring, vocal shot-stopper, on target to concede the fewest goals in a championship season. QPR fans wouldn't put it past him. Peter Davies, WeAreTheRangersboys.com
