Inter confirm interest in Fabio Capello succeeding José Mourinho

Internazionale have confirmed that they see Fabio Capello as a candidate to be their next manager , according to the club president, Massimo Moratti. "I haven't taken a decision. Capello is one of the candidates and he certainly has a great pedigree," Moratti told Gazzetta dello Sport's website. José Mourinho, who led Inter to a treble this season culminating in last Saturday's Champions League final victory over Bayern Munich, is poised to join Real Madrid. Capello has said that he wants to stay as England manager after the World Cup but Inter would be prepared to pay the Italian substantially more.
