MoD selects Steria as preferred bidder

The company is expected to deliver ICT services under the eight year contract to support Dstl, an executive agency of the MoD. Steria said it will be responsible for delivering core IT services for Dstl's corporate networks, including maintenance of its IT infrastructure, the provision of IT helpdesk support, and technical support for ad hoc departmental projects. It will also be required to design bespoke technical applications designed for Dstl's work. The contract is scheduled to begin in April 2011.
