Alan Hutton has three-match ban reduced to one
Alan Hutton, the Sunderland right-back who is on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, has won his appeal against the three match suspension he received after being sent off at Hull City on Saturday. Hutton clashed with Hull's Jozy Altidore, throwing the ball at the striker before being head-butted and was shown a straight red card for violent conduct. However after viewing the incident, an FA panel reduced the Scot's ban to one game. Hutton will now sit out Sunday's vital Premier League game against Manchester United at the Stadium of Light. Altidore, meanwhile, has been fined two weeks wages by Hull.
