Life sentences for killers of journalists

Mexico's border state of Chihuahua - regarded as the country's most violent - has enacted legal reforms that will ensure life sentences for the killers of on-duty police officers and journalists. The reforms also mean that there will be life sentences for kidnapping, multiple murders and extortion. Chihuahua's governor César Duarte said: "Extraordinary times require extraordinary decisions."
