Women leading museums out of their all-male preserve

It's enough to make a major-general (retired) choke on his kedgeree. The ladies are mounting a stealthy ambush on museums whose leadership has traditionally been an all-male preserve. Two years ago, Diane Lees became the first woman to head the Imperial War Museum. Now Alan Guy is retiring from the National Army Museum in London after 33 years; Janice Murray, formerly of the National Railway Museum, will be taking over.
