Trinity Mirror's app scores a hit

An iPhone app launched by Trinity Mirror Digital Recruitment (TMDR) in April bounded to the top of the business app download charts with 10,000 downloads in its first month. TMDR, the newspaper publisher's online recruitment division, runs a portfolio of specialist job sites with links to job opportunities from 50 of its regional news websites. Users can apply for the jobs directly from their mobile devices or they can send details of the job to a nominated email account. Source: The Drum
