You ask, they answer: Intelligent Energy
Intelligent Energy is a UK-based company specialising in hydrogen fuel cells, such as the London taxis we covered in February , and made our CleanTech100 in 2008 . Other projects the company points to are the development of a hydrogen fuel cell motorbike, the ENV, tested here on YouTube by James May , a collaboration with Suzuki to manufacture a fuel cell powered scooter and supplying a fuel cell system to Boeing which powered the first manned fuel cell aircraft . But can fuel cells compete with pure electric vehicles in the low emissions race? Do they have a role in powering buildings ? And how can the chicken-and-egg infrastructure problem be overcome? Please post your questions below. Intelligent Energy will be online until Friday providing answers. Replies will come a team including CEO, Dr Henri Winand, and Dr Ashley Kells, programme leader for the fuel cell taxi project.
