Bedford's Times & Citizen newspaper has become something of a Twitter sensation today for an eye-catching front page. It gave its commendable splash story about council pay harmonisation the headline " headline headghgh ", adding helpfully: "Strapline for main story like this if needed". Subs everywhere, including here, are wincing in sympathy and muttering: "There but for the grace of God..." But there is one additional question. The T&C is a Johnston Press title – so is this another example of the streamlined production processes possible with the group's much - talked - about new Atex system?
